The Kentucky Thorough-Breasts is the only dragon boat racing team in the state. Their team is entirely made up of breast cancer survivors. They race in a 54-foot long traditional dragon boat, which was funded by a grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. Advertisements

Fall Brawl


John Downing makes some final adjustments to his lawn mower before the demolition derby competition at the 2009 Fall Brawl. Downing has been competing for two years and built his mower in one day. He finished in seventh place in this year’s competition. The lawnmower class had 43 entries this year.
